SINGAPORE KOO KEE RESTAURANT @ PACIFIC CENTURY PLACE (BEIJING)
Riding on the success of the opening of the 1st flagship restaurant in World City since 2015, Singapore Koo Kee Restaurant increased its foray in the Beijing market by opening the 2nd flagship restaurant at Pacific Century Place in July 2017. Pacific Century Place is located in the famous Sanlitun area within the Chaoyang District in Beijing, which is a popular destination for shopping, dining and entertainment for tourists and locals alike.
A hybrid concept by Singapore’s Gao Ji Food, Singapore Koo Kee Restaurant aspires to be the definitive restaurant for authentic Singapore local delights within Beijing by providing a variety of authentic and famous Singapore delicacies such as Gao Ji Food’s renowned signature Yong Tow Foo with over 60 years of history that is freshly hand-made daily, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Bak Kut Teh, Laksa and Curry under one roof.
The highlight for the 2nd flagship restaurant at Pacific Century Place is the restaurant’s interior design. The interior design was conceptualised to resemble old Nanyang in the 1950s and instil a homely feeling. The display items consist mainly of daily necessities and dining crockery during the olden days. The lightings utilise old hanging lights that were commonly used then. The colourful wall murals depict the old street scenes of Singapore. When customers step into Singapore Koo Kee Restaurant, they will be transported to nostalgic Singapore in the 1950s, while enjoying authentic Singapore delicacies over a heart-warming meal.
Singapore Koo Kee Restaurant has also launched a series of new additions comprising of Fishball Noodles, Carrot Cake, Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee, Char Kway Teow and other local Singapore desserts, further reinforcing Singapore Koo Kee Restaurant’s positioning as the definitive restaurant to patronise for authentic and delicious Singapore food in Beijing.
